Stature of a perfect man Para 74. The church is now supposed to take the place of the Lord Jesus Christ. Do what you are supposed to do as a Christian.

You must be born again, it is God's requirement. The new birth is a work of faith. Faith is the foundation of all things, for without faith it is impossible to please God. A human being is lead by either doubt or faith. Without faith you cannot understand the things of God. It is a revelation. There must be a difference between a Christian and an unbeliever.

Upon your faith add Virtue. Virtue is power that went out of the Lord Jesus Christ when the woman touched the herm of His garment.

Add Knowledge to your virtue. Knowledge to know right from wrong. The scriptures are not of a private interpretation. Punctuate every word with an amen. Study the word prayerfully to show Holy Ghost knowledge. II Timothy 2 v 2.

Add Temperance to your knowledge. Holy Ghost temperance is to know how to control your tongue/temper. Proverbs 15 v 1 How do you react when someone steps on your toe? Forgive with sweetness from your heart praying for him.

Add Patience to your Knowledge. As it was in the days of Noah so is it in this age. Noah was told to build an ark but God did not tell him when he would be coming. Noah believed it and waited for 120 years. Believers have to do their part and God will do His. Thoroughly repent and he will fill you with the Holy Ghost.

God tries your patience. Abraham was only promised a son through Sarah. All that was contrary was nothing to Abraham. He was strong in faith knowing that God would fulfill his promise. God wants to brag about his children. He did it with Job who was rich, but you say God is only worshipped by the poor. Seek ye first the kingdom of God. We give to Caesar what belongs to him. Add Godliness to your patience. Godliness means to be like God. To be a Christian is to be Christ-like. All through life's journey be like him. Matthew 5 v 48.

Add Brotherly kindness. Let people see God in you. Charity is the capstone. God himself comes down, the Holy Spirit welding it together to make it a perfect church.

Pledge to seek him daily so that you can be like him.
