Believers Christian Fellowship Scottish Annual Convention

Background!!!

It was that time of the year when there is no snow in the Scottish city of Glasgow. Eagles gathered from as far as London, Wales, Sheffield, Manchester and all around the UK for their portion of God's menu at this 19th Scottish Annual Convention. This was a summer to remember...more

Missionary Report - Presented in Scotland

Background!!!

Pastor Chesa was then asked to come and run the final lag for this meeting with his report from Zimbabwe which I entitled A day in the Life of a Missionary. The congregation was taken into a typical day of a missionary as he goes to the jungles. It was so touching to see and hear the distances these gallant men have to walk, sometimes using donkey driven carts, sometimes on bicycles and such like. It was worth all the effort, just to put the story to the pictures on a well done PowerPoint presentation; no one would talk of time in such circumstances. This report will live in many believers' memories and we believe the prayers of the saints will be going around for the work to continue....more

Malawi July 2008 Trip Report

Background!!!

Saints from Zimbabwe and Malawi were under great expectation as they awaited the Blantyre revival. Months were counted down to weeks, days and finally minutes until the zero hour. 160 brethren from Zimbabwe made a convoy north through Mozambique to Malawi. However, departure delays and those along the way, which included the poor state of the road, long immigration processes and corrupt immigration officials made it impossible to have the first service that had been scheduled for Friday the 25th...more

Malawi June 2008 Trip Report

Background!!!

Our Reporter Sr Rachael Naome Kadiwa (in Malawi) gives us an account of what the Lord did and continues to do in Malawi since the Lilongwe Revival Meetings in June 2008. It is no secret that Malawi has been dramatically changed by the visitation from above. The host Pastor Mbewe is a strong believer in God’s power to deliver and is praying for people and he has got such confidence in GOD that things are happening. People are already taking the word into action the brothers are already speaking sickness and demons out of existence...more

Dande West 2008 Meetings Report - By Bro Norman Mucheto

Background!!!

The first service had been scheduled for Friday the 13th but it was not meant to be since brethren arrived in the late hours of the day (around midnight). The next day being a Saturday, there was a wedding in the making between Brother Collen Kamuzu and Sister Sharon Driver. The breakfast was just out of the ordinary, appetizing may not be the best word to describe it but nutritious and very healthy could best describe what it was. A mixture of nyemba and chibage( mutakura) plus maguru wound with matumbu and a cup of tea. This was the expertise of Sister Malata and Sister Mafuke to name but a few. Though this was a remote place, the way brethren chipped in to make sure things work out made it a white wedding. Two tents were pitched on the southern side of the school and a splendid blue and white deco as supplied by Sister Chimera. Brother Nathan (ex-policeman) supplied the PA system to help boost the vocal output.....more

Glendale December 2007 Meetings Report - By Bro Norman Mucheto

Background!!!

Rujeko High School in Glendale was the venue for the just ended revival meetings. Pastor Munaki shepherds the flock in this area but was unavailable at the time of the revival due to work commitments. His employers had transferred him to Zambia. In the meantime, Pastor Chesa has been looking after the flock and, to this end, he organized the revival. The Masvingo team was invited to set Glendale ablaze. The meetings started on a high note on Friday 7 December. Some believers from Harare, (60km away) managed to commute on a daily basis while others put up at Glendale for the entire weekend.....more

Pastor's West Africa Report - By Pastor Hama Blessing Chesa

Background!!!

After accepting an invitation to Ivory Coast, I left the Harare international airport onboard the Kenya Airways around 10 am. The plane took me through Nairobi and only arrived in Abidjan, the capital of Ivory Coast on Tuesday evening. Bro Thompson, the assistant pastor to Bro Eric Samu was at the airport to meet us and take us to the parsonage. I spent the following day (Wednesday) resting, as the Annual National Convention was starting on Thursday morning in Abidjan.....more

Mambwere October 2007 Meetings Report - By Sister Innocent Mbirimi

Background!!!

The people at Mambwere were told that the purpose for the visit was not to start a new denomination but to continue the work of the bible. In Acts 2 the apostles went into the upper room and came from there drunken with the Holy Spirit, it is still possible that people can get drunk with the Holy Ghost. In Hebrews, Paul said the Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. We believe the whole bible from Genesis to Revelation. We have come for the Word of God and the fruits thereof....more

Masvingo Youth Convention Report by Brother Norman Mucheto (VOGNET)

The Gathering!!!

The anointing of the place came upon them. Here they were, the epistles of God, patiently waiting for takeoff. Here they were, outside Zimpost, as young believers in Zimbabwe. Here they were, outside TELONE, and desirous to TELL the ONE they served about all their burden of care. Here they were by faith believing that they would make it to Masvingo. They remained strong in faith. They had knowledge that God would undertake for them. And that knowledge calmed their nerves and God granted temperance. Above all, they were exceedingly patient. Throughout their seven or so hours of waiting, they had climbed up to the fifth rung on the ladder of the stature of a perfect man (2nd Peter 1:5-6). The saints left Harare around 2100hrs in the evening. Neither was their hope and expectation diminished. They arrived in Masvingo at 0300hrs on Saturday due to some mechanical problems on one of the buses that could not engage into gears properly around the Chivhu area....more

Dande Trip Report by Brother Patrick Moyo

Background

We left at 10 o'clock in the evening and arrived in Dande at 0202am. We were touched to find the brethren singing at such an early hour of the morning while waiting for us. Considering the distances they had traveled, with some walking in excess of 130km, we felt really humbled. They had also sacrificed in terms of victuals. They provided goats, mealie meal, and firewood ...more

Israel Trip Report

Unto this day! - Walking with the Bible

It is commonly believed that the prophet Bro Branham never went to Israel and therefore going to Israel is lack of faith or a waste of money. But the prophet mentions that he went to Israel in some of his sermons. A sample of quotations is herewith recorded: ...more

'Test Service'.

Sunday 19 November 2006:

We appreciate the Lord for a successful 'Test Service' we had on this day at The Eastlea Tabernacle. The Tabernacle is still under construction but the Pastor and the Trustee and Deacon Board felt we had to have a 'Test Service' at the building for capacity testing of the congregation and to see how the available space can be optimized for parking. Brethren were inspired by the event that the pledges towards the bricks for the walls of the tabernacle were overwhelming... more
