5th Annivesary
5 September 2003-5 September 2008The Eastlea Tabernacle celebrates 5 years constructing the Tabernacle. This may seem a lengthy period but demonstrate the zeal and resilience of the congregants in face of hyperinflation (in millions!) and a collapsing construction industry. In troublous times Jerusalem was built.
On the Friday 5 September 2003, the first tool was raised to clear the ground around the premise for construction. Many events has occurred since then from the jubilant singing and dancing during the ground breaking ceremony, scraping the mud 5 meters underground doing the foundation, energetic concrete mixing by both brothers and sisters to the mechanized laying on of the roof. It surely has been an exciting time.
The tabernacle is almost complete with a few finishes left. We would like to thank all the brethren that have stood with us in prayer, physical and financial effort, may the Good Lord Bless and Reward you for your assistance. We will be featuring a full report on the major milestones in next few days.

Trip to Egypt and Israel
18 October - 12 November 2008There will be a trip to Israel through Egypt later this year. The inclusive cost of the trip is around USD3100 per person. Travellers will depart on the 28th of October and arrive back on the 12th of November 2008.

Memorial service for Str Florence Mutema
13 September 2008Do You Fear Cancer? This is the life and testimony of Str Florence Mutema. She is one gallant soul whose faith demonstrated to us that cancer is just one small demon. There will be a memorial service for her on the 13th of September 2008.
